Anatoly Gaverdovskiy — Senior Vice President, CIS Operations
Anatoly Gaverdovsky is responsible for EPAM's software engineering outsourcing and consulting operations in Russia and other countries in the former Soviet Union region.
Mr. Gaverdovsky joined EPAM in 2006 after Vested Development, Inc (VDI) merged with EPAM Systems to create the leading software development outsourcing company in Eastern Europe.
Anatoly is widely recognized as one of the pioneers of software outsourcing industry in Russia. He was one of the original founders of VDI and helped to build the company from scratch to become one of the top Russian providers of software development services and technology solutions for blue-chip clients worldwide. At VDI Anatoly first served as Chairman and Vice President, later as the Head of R&D, and then from 2002 in CEO position leading VDI staff of about 400 in 5 countries.
Anatoly is a graduate of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University and of the Space University in Toronto, Canada.
